The AIRSHIP uses a number of pioneering technologies to enable ease of use and provide a decontaminated environment to the occupants. These technological measures are similar to the ones used for Nuclear Bunkers except, in this case instead of radiation, these technologies are being used to prevent extended exposure to something equally, or perhaps even more, lethal - toxic air.
There is a fundamental difference in the working principles of conventional air purifiers and the Airship.
Pollutants are all around us in the air. The walls and roofs of all buildings are porous enough to allow pollutants inside buildings. Therefore, indoor pollution is worse than outdoor pollution as the affect of pollutants in an enclosed space exemplifies.
Conventional air purification solutions work on the principle of
AIR RECIRCULATION, where air that has already been used in a space, is reused by being passed
through a filter and returned.
The end result is a mixed environment of filtered and polluted air in the space.
Also, the
filtered air may escape from the walls and roofs of the building greatly reducing the effectiveness
of the solution in providing a clean environment.
The Airship works on the principle of AIR FILTRATION, that is the environments for both air intake
and release are separated by a physical barrier.
The ambient polluted air is taken in from
outside the chamber, it is filtered and the filtered air is supplied inside the chamber.
This ensures that the inside space is filled with only decontaminated, fresh air creating a clean
environment.
Our patented IFPX technology has been developed based on the principles of AIR FILTRATION to provide a true pollution free environment filled with fresh decontaminated air. This is how it works:
The chamber is made up of non permeable materials of steel, glass and specially designed insulated panels.
Air cannot penetrate both steel and glass due to their dense molecular structure.
The non permeable insulated panels not only prevent ingress of outside air but also prevent thermal conductivity.
The rubber seals and non-silicone-based sealants are low VOC and prevent air ingress or leakage around all joints.
The ambient air from outside the chamber is taken in by the Air Filtration Unit (AFU) integrated into the chamber.
The air is filtered after passing through a 7-stage filtration process that ensures removal of 99.97% of micron and sub micron sized particles from the incoming air.
This filtered air is supplied inside the chamber so that the whole chamber is filled with fresh air.
The AIRSHIP is completely airtight.
Ambient air can enter only through the AFU and exits only through the Overpressure Exhaust Module (OEM).
As the air starts filling up inside the chamber, the high-pressure flow from the AFU creates a slight positive pressure of 0.24" WC inside, as the air cannot escape.
This creates a physical barrier for any contaminants on the outside preventing ingress.
The OEM opens automatically when the internal air pressure exceeds the set limit and exhausts the air till the internal pressure drops back, when it closes back up, maintaining the set limit.
At full CADR The AIRSHIP achieves up to 25 ACH, ensuring a continuous, frequent replacement of air inside the chamber with fresh decontaminated air.
For reference, the ACH in regular homes & offices is close to O.
The IFPX technology used in the AIRSHIP ensures that you are in a pollutant free, fresh air environment
Staying in such an environment limits the body's exposure to, and absorption of, Free Radicals present in the
ambient air which, in turn, prevents excessive ROS generation in the human body and restores normal
mitochondrial function.
This helps in reducing Oxidative Stress and boosts the functioning of the body
rejuvenating both the body and the mind.
